You will have 2 reading quizzes per week up until we finish the textbook. Each night you will have roughly 10 pages to read and can take notes that can be used during the quiz. As you read, focus on "big picture" topics, red headings, and specific events (important people's contributions to history, events, and laws).
Reading quizzes will be worth 20 points and we will have about 60. If you don't do the reading you probably will not pass the class this semester.
